Gamilaraay is my Country. This place that connect us, my family and I. It leads us to our spiritual connection, our home. Many memories have been created as we travel through the far reaching plains, the black soil and river beds, like our generations before us. Each place having its own story. We are a culture that is rich with Language, family and traditions. My spirit is connected to this place and it will always be my home. Each meeting place has its own history, its own story yet they are intertwined, as it is Gamilaraay Country and it is that understanding and knowledge that keeps us together and strong.
